How has Tryndamere still avoided nerfs? Mainly his ULT?

The cooldown on that thing is way too low with 0% cdr. He's suppose to be easy to bully pre-6 but his sustain is crazy with his Q and unless you play someone like Teemo who's garbage ever since his shroom nerf you probably won't be killing him. You could turn it into a farm lane but then his late game splitpush, which is way too fast, will just take over.

The way itemization is now building pure armor /hp won't do you any good since lw/bork/yomumu etc. will just nullify anything. His ult is almost always up so you can't duel him.

Darius had his reset taken away because he would be able to kill you the minute you got back to lane. Garen has his ult's cooldown retardedly long because of the same reason. Tryndamere On the other hand is allowed to be unkillable everytime he walks back to his lane after murdering you.

Not to mention he's allowed to use it no matter the CC on him. Silence/Stun/Knockup/Knockback etc. not to mention he's almost always going to be critting.

Tl;Dr Tryn needs a nerf mainly on his Ult's CD

Funny thing about trynd, when on the other team the ult feels like it is 30 seconds long. When playing him it feels like 3.

I will give you an amazing tip against Tryndamere splitpush.

When you win a TF 4v5, because Tryndas usually never group, ask in all chat: "Trynda AFK?"

Then they will rage at him for not joining at every lost teamfight, and might pressure him into joining a TF, which is usually what you want due to more summoner spells and more people to kite him

Note however, this doesn't work in higher elos, but people usually don't pick Trynda there so you might be safe.

Sunfire Cape and Thornmail are trash items and should never be built.

Want to complain about AD tryndamere? Try playing AP Tryndamere, then let us now how much you hate his sustain.

His ulti doesn't neglect damage, it only prevents his hp from dropping below 1.

Hence when it's used, he will either go balls deep or simply retreat depending on situations. If he retreats during TF you might as well ignore him and focus on killing his other teammates, if he retreats during trades and that (don't go 1v1 against him he will just out last you, get someone with you and gank him), somehow get an AA, a DoT or a spell after his ulti runs out will kill him.

If he goes balls deep into the middle of your team during TF with ulti active and 1 hp then cc him and run to the enemies back lane to do your things, if he isn't ridiculously fed that is. Otherwise, run for your life and retreat.

Since when does a Tryn Teamfight, lol. No Tryn ever joins a teamfight they just splitpush and take 2 towers before you can even finish a recall(ofc exaggerating)

After about 2-3 items he becomes unable to be 1v1'd. Turning the game into a 4v4 for the most part. If he is losing a fight he'll just run away and heal and you're not likely to chase him since he has that stupid dash + his base stats aren't low at all except maybe his HP.

From what I normally hear ignite is usually the reason why people don't think his Ult is mostly an issue. He CAN survive ignite if he heals with his Q + Lifesteal. Also ignite is the only thing i've heard being a counter for him. If that's all then he obviously has issues with being overwhelming.

With the way items are now armor/hp is obsolete unless you build pure6 armor item which can still be ignored cause lawl lifesteal armor pen

You're right Trynds don't always join TFs but they do quite a few skirmishes here and there, and that's what I meant there really since a lot of times, skirmishes turns into TF at any moment's notice.

1v1 a Trynd with ulti not in cd is always a bad idea just like trying to 1v1 a Udyr who has blue buff, hence you would want to gank him which will most likely result either you killing him or he gets away but crippled for a short term.

If he gets away, while it's not big but at least he won't be a pest for a short while hence you can focus on whatever objective you guys are currently looking at and he won't interfere, so that's a plus.

To kill him, you can always try bursting him so fast he doesn't even get time to reach his finger onto the R button before dying. Or ofc if he pulls his ulti, cc or do whatever to prevent his movement then land an AA + ignite after ulti runs out, that will kill him pretty much 10 times out of 10.

You can build Frozen Heart to slow down his AA (it has sweet armour too) or Omen for the movespeed reduction and overall tankiness, and ofc last but not least there are always Thornmail, Rylai's or even Frozen Mallet (although I generally do not recommend the last 2 for most cases).

The only time, IMO, that Tryndamere's ult is an issue is when he gets fed/ahead of everyone else. If you can beat him when he's not using his ult, then you should at LEAST be able to kill him with an ignite timed a few seconds (if you can last that long) after his ult. After taking him to nothing, try running away so he's not just AAing the crap out of you. If he chases... ignite as mentioned above. Heck, if he's still in range when you start to run and he's not following, try to land it at the edge of it's range. In most cases, this will kill him and give you a chance to survive. He is an AA champ, so it's not like he has a bunch of tricks. I see no reason to nerf him in this way. Most of the time it's only an issue if the player in question is simply better than the others in the que/over fed. (I main Darius and feel the 20 second timer for a killing dunk is pretty balanced... I couldn't imagine having it reset without a timer.. that would be insanely OP)

One other thing you have to realize is that Tryndamere is pretty much AA-reliant compared to Darius and Garen.

His only damaging ability is also his gap closer and escape, his W is a debuff, and his Q is a heal that consumes his Fury and by extension makes his AAs weaker due to his passive.

Yes please beg for more nerfs on champions that don't need it.

Tryndamere is fine the way he is.

I don't think Tryndamere is a game problem. He takes advantage of split pushing, and many teams (especially in solo queue) don't respond quickly to the split push. So he seems like a huge problem (esp at lower tiers) where split pushing is sometimes never punished.

Your team needs to punish a tryndamere, and honestly early game is a really good time to punish him. You mentioned that he has low starting hp. Try to get jungle ganks or punish him really hard before he can do anything. Trynd is pretty weak early levels against lots of champions.

Trynd is also Auto Attack reliant, which has been pointed out. You can hope to counter his main auto attack strength with champs with blinds; quinn is actually very effective as she is ranged, has a leap/disengage, has a blind, and her ult can let her chase somebody down very well. You can also take champs with AS slows like Nasus. Jax is also a good pick as he has a stun / dodge, plus can leap to stay on trynd. There are other champs to but these are just a few examples.

Crowd Control also hurts trynd a lot. Remember, there is a reason why trynd doesn't just jump in and stomp every game.

I do agree on one of your points though. Trynd seems to be the only character that can cast his ult during hard CC. I don't believe Kayle can do this, you can't zhonya while stunned, etc... So it would be nice to keep his ult use consistent with the rest of the champions that they have made.
