Give it a week

Anyone want to bet that maybe a week or two after 5.16 releases, these boards will be filled with rage posts about playing against Morde in the bot lane? I'm almost certain that NO ONE will be complaining about actually playing him.

Anyone remember when Lucian was released? When he was, the general cocensus was that he was massively underpowered, and needed buffs across the board. Maybe a week or two afterwards, with Riot DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO HIM, everyone was raging that Lucian was WAY too overpowered, and need nerfs across the board.

Soon after that, Riot did nerf him, but only slightly. Those slight nerfs were translated as him being gutted across the board, and thus he needed buffs as compensation. Maybe another week or two after those nerfs, people were STILL complaining about him being overpowered, and were still demanding nerfs.

There is also LeBlanc. Riot removed her silence, and everyone thought it would utterly destroy her. It did take her some time to come back, but she eventually did ON HER OWN!!!! Riot buffed her W slightly, and now she is considered one of, if not the best AP mid laner in the game right now.

Seriously guys, give Riot a fricken chance. People keep over-exaggerating changes they make, until they fully realize what the changes actually do to the game. Yes, 5.16 is a very large, and highly experimental patch. You may not like the changes as they stand on paper, but wait until the changes are actually released, and then criticize if you want to. From what I'm seeing of the comments towards Morde, Garen, etc. from people who have actually played on the PBE, the overall concensus is that these changes are really cool and really fun.

So, taking this new Morde bot lane might not be as bad as you may think. Wait until 5.16 actually comes out, then give your opinion instead of whining to what they look like on paper.
