How do you personally feel about where he's at in the current meta.
In my personal OPINION. He's not viable, and hasnt been since his silence removal. I do have one idea to improve his kit slightly, and i think it'd make him playable again..
Give his W a speed boost like Ahris Q. She gets 250 movement speed, even if talon got 150 or so, it'd improve him immensely. Please get some red text on here, he is my favorite champ if only he was viable.
Better Jungler2 votestalon in season 3. fit in every team comp, his ban rate was around 65% at one point in time Source= leagueofgraphs and he fit in every team comp as the assassin for squishy champs, his silence allowed him to carry most games, and it really was a broken element to him.
RadioGold1 votesHis banrate was 65% because when he was released in season 2 paired with the old black cleaver he was the most broken champion there was. And no in season 3 zed, fizz, kha and many others were miles ahead in terms of viability and benefiting your teams other then just "i do tons of damage". Talon was personally always viewed as a niche pick during season 3 for me. And I played him damn near every single game during that time. I didn't see him banned one time that entire year.

RadioGold1 votesHes never been "viable". Talon never fit into any team comp, there was always 5 better options for a mid laner in terms of benefiting your team. People play him because hes a extremely high risk high reward lonewolf assassin.

Don't get me wrong, people who play Talon, KNOW how to play Talon and will still make you cry after the game.
I don't feel like he needs to be reworked. I think he needs to be compensated somehow for doing his only job (killing the squishy carry). Like being able to get out alive.....fuckin replaced wards with pink wards jesus
iamleburk3 votesI wouldn't mind a small rework, like they did for miss fortune. I feel like I wouldnt miss the passive much, and the Q animation needs a lot of tuning. But "being able to get out alive" is supposed to be his whole counter play. If you use your ult to go in, you better have another plan of getting out. Thats a part i dont think they will be able to change without killing one of his other strengths. Also, he really needs better itemization
Better Jungler1 votesYeah I agree, thats the drawback with most assassins. However i do also think his cutthroat should be able to teleport to allies, like shunpo from Katarina, Jax's Leap. I just want some red text, where they tell me if anythings in the works. I'd like to return to my favorite champ without requiring a Jungle babysitter to be competitive.
iamleburk1 votesBut its not the drawback of most assasins. Fizz has another "gap closer" to escape, Leblanc can reactivate W, Zed can return to his shadow, Kassadin has his riftwalk (after Zhonya's), and Ahri is safe as hell. The only exceptions here are Diana and Katarina, Diana can technically ult out again, but they gave her enough durability that she can survive after she goes in, and katarina has an escape but only if she gets a kill. Talon is not tanky, he has no escape, but he trades that for crazy burst, AOE, and waveclear (which most assassins dont have)
I wouldn't even mind if his lane was weak, as long as his post lane phase was good enough to make the tough lane worth it. Like Katarina, or Jax.
