No, Galio doesn't grow. He's a statue that comes to life when exposed to magic. He's not a malleable being like Cho, Malphite, or Zac, he's a statue.

Malphite is a rock, Galio is a rock... whats the difference. Also if your going with direct logic why is he so small to begin with.

Galio is a carved sculpture. Malphite is an ambiguous earth elemental. It's understandable that an ambiguous earth elemental can manipulate it's own size. It's not understandable that a sculpture, that isn't natural or an elemental of any sort, would have capabilities that exceed what it was created to be.

Furthermore, Galio is made of petricite, like a lot of stuff in Demacia. If he's got the capability to grow in size, that makes shit weird for characters like Garen and Sylas, who have petricite elements of their armor and weaponry.

And as for why he's the size he is in game - Riot deliberately stated on his release this was done this way to keep him within the scope of the game. In the lore, as noted by his classic splash, Galio is MASSIVE, Godzilla-sized even.

In his lore it states, "Somehow, the accumulation of absorbed magic had given him life. He threw himself in front of the Demacians, shielding them from attack after attack, absorbing each fresh bolt into his massive, stone frame."

Couldn't we say the more MR he gets the more magic he absorbs. And from a gameplay state say that absorption makes him grow in size?

It's his lifeblood. His Health.

Also the Lore is conflicted and inconsistent calling Petricite a rock, it's actually wood and then mixed with lime (which is a non magical rock) and ash.

As Oleandervine stated, Malphite is an elemental being, his size is magical, Galio is made of petricite, same thing Garen's armor and sword hilt is made of, Same things Sylas's shackles are made of, etc, if Galio were to grow in MR, then so would their petricite, petricite is a stone decomposed wood mixture, not some magical (if it were innately magical, kinda defeats Demacia's whole existence) rock

Galio needs a better rework, and it should represent what he actually is. A statue the size of Godzilla.

I think he should just be a massive stationary, 3rd tower to the Nexus, that casts abilities down lanes, or grants team buffs. Maybe give him an unlimited range skillshot thats about as hard to land as Rupture.

As nice as a cosmetic thing that could be His hitbox is xboxhueg, making it bigger would pose some real problems with pathing Only MR item Galio builds is item 3102 [zombie-nunu-tears]
