Instead of damage over time and damage reduction give it a mark that explodes after a few seconds, essentially a mini zed ultimate

So you waste your smite completely if they get away but in a secured duel or gank you can get it off and eliminate someone

The assassin item is the Warrior Enchantment. Assassins are completely reliant on armor penetration because their build has so much AD in it. Of course, I'm only talking about AD assassins, not AP assassins like Diana.
