I mean, that has to be what's happening this year, right?

Victorious Skins usually are given to whoever was reliably strong and predicted to be strong in the future.

Zoe is probably too much of a mess, even riot knows she's probably going to be unbalancable and shift in strength at various times. Plus unless she gets a new skin from now til the end of the season (outlook isn't good with how new champ trends are), they said they never wanted to make a victorious skin be the first after release skin (after an uproar with victorious elise.)

JarvanIV - j4 was always relevant and reliable to pick, either top or jungle. Janna - no matter what they did to her she was strong. Elise - Elise was super powerful at release and throughout season 3, they had to hard gut her after season 3 inorder to push her out of the meta. Morgana - when was morg really weak? Sivir - always a decent pick in solo queue, strong in pro play, overall solid design and even still decent when other blood thirsty ADCs are stronger. Maokai - ..... ok yea they were smoking some weed. They literally admitted this skin came as a result of 1 LCS play (that everybody started playing tank fizz and ekko to achieve better results) Graves - ironically he was weak but the skin started development while he was top tier for the longest period of time.

Oh shit, I missed that Maokai play. Do you have a link to it? I'd love to see it.

Looking at things at this point, considering the few champs that are viable - Victorious Lucian seems most likely (or maybe Victorious Irelia).

Irelia absolutely. Also, this was 5 months old.

5 months old but worth reviving given the season end approaching soon.

riot has sait it wont be on a char that had "lots of skins" and it wont be on a champ that has a "challenger" Ahri Nidalee skin or "conqueror" Karma

it also cannot be on a champ that already has one

meaning every champion i like to play... cant have it.. so yeah now i never have an incentive to get to gold.

also its probably Aatrox or Sejuani
