Maybe I should just AFK farm to 400 CS, then go and do things with the team? Is that what it takes?

EVD Ghost1 votesNo no, even if you don't afk farm. As long as you make good decisions and correct pathing you should be roughly 350 cs + at least.
Niyumi1 votesWell, I wasn't really focusing on farming that game. I was roaming around ganking with the Yi and trying to win all the lanes. I farmed mid until I got a couple items, and then wasn't really in mid most of the time, unless my team was there.

Maybe you roamed too much. The game is more objective based than kill based. And even before siege for objectives, you'll have to push the side lanes.
