You people tell me it's my fault I lose games, so why did I lose this one?

Noone ever told you that. Noone.

What I always see on boards is :

Whether you win or lose a game, is mainly up to luck. Whether you win or lose 100 games is up to your skill.

Btw, dont play rakan as a midlaner (or be prepared to lose even tough you played well). He he more a support mage than a damage dealer, and when your team fails, support mages are way less usefull than a damage dealer.

With a leblanc or a viktor you would have probably won.

Every single time I come to the forums complaining about bad teams, people tell me it's my fault that I lost.

He doesn't do as much damage as Viktor or LB, but he can still kill a carry within a combo, and has tons of CC and shielding to carry teamfights.

The difference is leblanc can kill a carry and escape instantly. Then do it again less than 10 seconds later.

Viktor can just instant 3 carries at once, while also providing some nice CC and awesome waveclear.

No, most people come to the boards to say "I can't climb because of my teams", this is totaly wrong. Losing because of your team is fine, the problem is if you "always" are on the bad team, maybe you're the problem.

I mean, Rakan is kind of like LeBlanc, but a little more utlity-focused. If I have my W and Q up, I can usually kill a carry, and then get out if my team is there or ult through the rest of them and kill them too. If I have my ult and gunblade up, I can usually take on 2-3 squishies at a time and kill all of them -- especially if I have ignite ready. He does a lot more damage than you'd think.

And I mean, I spent 4,000 games getting out of silver last season. Every single game, at least one of my lanes had like a -5:1 KDA, and their team was snowballed to all hell, despite me doing fine. Sure I fuck up some games, but I generally do well, yet still lose most of my games. I'd love to say I can't climb because of the four morons I have to rely on every game, but I don't know if it's actually true or not.

I dont need to "think" about the damages he deals.

I can just do the maths.

Late game Leblanc : Passive : 300 + 80% AP Q : 195 + 50%AP W : 100 + 20%AP E : 240 + 100%AP R (+Q) : 400 + 60%AP

it's a total of 1235 flat damages + 310% AP on a 16s CD with 40% cdr. If we takes a late game lb with 600 AP, it's a flat 3100 dmg on a 16s cd.

Rakan : Q : 250+50% E : 250 +50% R : 300+50%

It's 800 + 150% on a 60s CD with 40% cdr. With 600 AP it just means : 1700 damages on a 60s cd. (Ok, lets add the lich bane : +50% ap : 2000 damages, still lightyear away from lb if you count cds).

Viktor : Q : 120 + 20% + (100%AD=~100 late game) + 50% E : 350 + 100% R : 665 + 125% Lich : 50%

Total : 1220 + 345% = 3290 in a large zone. Long range. (harder to hit the spells than with lb tough). On the same CD as rakan.

So you are telling me you take 3 squishies at a time, and your team couldnt manage to win the 4v2 after you killed these 3 squishies ? Seems quite strange from my pov.

Complaining about teams is useless. Even if it's not your fault you lost, still be on the look out for things you could have done better. For example in this game, it seems your champ pick was sub-optimal.

some games are uncarryable it looks like you did what you could but without a VoD we cant know for sure and any advice we would need a VoD for too.

Niyumi1 votes

I don't think Youtube would let me upload an entire game's replay. >.>

no need too, if you want to record do it this way;

  • go to op.gg - https://euw.op.gg/

  • get your profile up

  • press live game (once out of champion select)

  • hit record

  • now its available to everyone to watch online, you can also view and record pro's games this way too.

Do I start with the fact that your playing a support toplane not a carry when your trying to carry or that you didnt apply an map pressure

Succeedsawce1 votes

You're trolling if you're trying to tell us you deserved to win/carry with Rakan mid.

Niyumi1 votes

60% winrate, 5.33:1 KDA, rank 7. And that's over 40 games of JUST MID LANE. My champ wasn't the issue.

It is if you're denying your team damage.

See Rakan is one of those win more and playmaker champs. But he doesn't output the damage on his own.

If your team is composed of potatoes than all the set up in the world ain't gonna help you win.
