Master Tier Assassin Player confirms unbalance
In a misguided attempt to explain how one should fight Zed, a thread was made by a master tier player, showcasing all the reasons why Zed is unbalanced, including that the only way to counter his ultimate is to have the reaction time of a professional.
If you want to stop his farm under tower, there's little option. He explains that Zed will miss a few if you take that time to harass him, but the mechanic that allows him to farm more than he should be able to more than makes up for what your harass would normally do to a melee opponent.

Said player who will remain anonymous until you click the link and see who it is anyway states how to counter Zed, but in doing so he shows you how very limited you are in your options and just how good you have to be to actually counter hi ultimate. You can plainly see why anyone would choose Zed as a main.
