80% of people in this game are really, really, really, REALLY stupid

like seriously. if you get behind in lane, don't sit there and facerun into the laner you gave a gold advantage to thinking you can beat him 90% of the time you can't. the other 10% is if you outplay them/they make a mistake.

YOU CANNOT OUTPLAY EVERYONE 100% OF THE TIME

also, another thing, players. if you're anything other than ADC or AP mid(barring a few mids) and you get behind, BUILD TANK ITEMS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD you are of absolutely 0 USE when you're 0/10 with 400 ad.

please. use your brains people.

As much as you may be right, I don't have any illusions about you surviving the bout of verbal attacks that are coming your way.

Telling the community that their own bad plays are the result of their own stupidity is asking to be shot at in real life.

Your statistics look incredibly weak, you have no evidence to prove your percentage.

What is the purpose of this thread? Do you seek consolation from forummers?

yeah, sure my last 10 games might not look good, but compare it to my last 40, and you'll see i know what im talking about.

27 million people play League of Legends...

you're talking about 40 games... that's 400 people total, subtract 40 because you were in each of the games, and you're looking at 360.

360 people vs 27 million... that's 360 vs 27,000,000.

even if 80% of the people in your games were as you say, that's only 288 people...

I smell a "small sample" fallacy...

So OP has a 4/5 chance to fall in that category.

I am pretty sure we already know the answer.

I love you for understanding the struggle

Here inlies the problem. You say that if you go into a person with a gold advantage that you gave them, then 10% of the time, you'll be able to outplay them and get the kill.

Naturally, "bad" players will ASSUME that each time they go in, it will be that 10%. Or they assume that they're no bound by the same rules based on them thinking that life is an Anime with them being the main character. Either way, it's not going to change any time soon.

Although I do not agree with your impetuous generalization of 80% of the player base, I cannot deny that your points are 100% valid.

People need to understand that League is a statistic game. Simply put, who ever has the better stats is more likely to win. A player can either get more stats or make his or her stats more effective with complementary items, champion abilities, or skill to make a come back.

For example, if you are losing to an AP laner, rather than buying another damage item, consider a MR item. Defensive items often comes with ~70 to 100 Armor/MR plus a couple hundred health. Mathematically speaking, every point of armor or MR increases your effective health against that type of damage by 1%. That means that with only one completed defensive item, you essentially last twice as long as before against that damage type and will be able to do twice as much damage before dying.

So unless the next AD/AP item you buy is going to more than double your dps (IE with Yasuo), please consider buying some armor or MR.
