Role selection in Dynamic Queue is unhealthy

People nearly don't speak anymore in champion selection, a computer chose for you the role you'll play.

I get flamed for telling that I want to jungle when I'm last pick and selected jungle by the system, same if I pick jungle as first pick when I'm "supposed" to mid.

Another problem is the support issue. It's hard to play support as secondary role, cause it's basically a primary role.

Many didn't speak anyways. Most of the conversation would be people arguing over roles.

Having that sorted out ahead of time, you can actually discuss team compositions and more.

If you aren't playing the role assigned to you without your ally agreeing to swap with you, then that is a pubishable offense. Pick order has nothing to do with the matter.

Another problem is the support issue. It's hard to play support as secondary role, cause it's basically a primary role.

That's an issue with every team requiring a support and supports making up a smaller portion of the player-base than other roles. Not much can really be done with it until more players begin to enjoy supporting.

In my experience, this is less of an issue at higher ranks since people are more willing to cooperate, they are competent enough to properly follow up on the plays supports make, and more players realize they don't have to play damage-dealers to influence the game.

That's your experience?

In my experience, we talk a LOT more. Because we don't have to hash out who is going where, we already know. So we can skip that and get to our Core Comp. WHAT Champs are we bringing to our Roles?

Are we going Poke? Hard Engage? Disengage? Siege? Pick Comp? Team Fight?

All of this during Pick and Ban so we know what to Ban and what not to Ban.

Then we see if any of our Wanted Champions got Banned, and how we can respond to that.

I get a lot more meaningful discussion in Champ Select these days, and that's freaking awesome.

So if people aren't talking... that's not a Queue Issue, that's a PLAYER Issue. That's on the Player.

Also, if you have Jungle and you are 5th Pick, and Mid thinks he'd rather Jungle... then Report. He's breaking the System, which is both Unsportsmanlike and Toxic. That player is ABSOLUTELY 100% WRONG, and should be Reported. Now, YOUR action after that determines if YOU are going to help the team by covering the weaknesses that Toxic Player has caused (picking a Mid and taking one for the Team versus taking a Jungle anyways and compounding the problem). But that Player absolutely deserves to be Reported, and if it continues deserves to be Banned.

But again, that's a PLAYER ISSUE, not a Queue Issue. Same thing would happen with Insta-Lock people in the old version, or even in the reverse when 5th would take Jungle despite Support being the only Role left open, and 'justify' it by saying "I told you I was Jungle" despite Pick Order having precedence. So this exact thing was already happening BEFORE Dynamic Queue Role Selection.

These aren't issues with the Role Selection nor the Dynamic Queue, but with Players. All of these are Player Issues.

@EndlessSorcerer too.

I see your point, but I must disagree on one things you pointed both, picking a role, whatever player accorded (in the old system) or the in game system decided are not a punishable offense. Simply cause the game don't ask you to go where meta says to go. Same goes for taking creeps, creeps aren't allocated to player by the game, that's the player who mutely conventionally allocate creeps to each individual, you can't be banned for coming mid as support and taking some creeps, or taking the gromp/krugs.

Same goes in real life, their is moral crime who aren't punishable.

Not saying you should do it, but just to asses that picking a role, whatever other people decided, whatever an automatic system decided, is not punishable.

Now if it's stated somewhere that it's actually a punishable offense to pick another role then the system decided, please let me know.

EDIT : About player issue, yeah, I totally agree, it's an player issue. I just feel player are becoming more toxic with a system that don't allow them to choose their role precisely.
