That's dependent on her, you know, landing a spear. It's probably one of the hardest skill shots to land because of its small hitbox and slow projectile speed.
Its damage is also a lot lower if it doesn't hit you from range.
Unless you'd rather go back to the days of Nidalee's spears quite literally, one shotting players, but her spears being the only ability that isn't worthless.

yeah, well you throw enough spears from max range one will land, and then its game over for whoever got hit. there's no reason she should be able to chunk people out 1/2 their hp, and then get a free massive gapcloser because of some stupid mark.

except one spear landing is a 600 damage nuke that gives nidalee a 500 unit gapcloser.
a nid could land one spear per teamfight and win their team every fight because that's all it takes from nidalee

And if she lands that max range spear she can't immediately jump in and execute, because the spear has 1500 range, while Pounce only has 700 range.
Please note that Nidalee has zero CC of any means (except death) and is a very squishy champion. More often than not, she's basically a healbot in the late game unless she gets incredibly fed, and even then she can only pick off targets, and can't walk in, delete someone, then easily escape (a la Zed)
ApexInTheCircle1 votesIt's a bug with the skin, if she's in a bush sometimes they won't be visible when they come out. All you see is the trail.
On a side note something like this has existed with Articun- I mean Anivia since her release. Her Q's will sometimes go invisible.
