Name one thing this season you like that the balance team did!

They need a pick me up! I know the league community is better than what I've been seeing lately on these boards. Prove me right. There have been hundreds of changes this season - Which ones are good?

**1.) Ancient Coin line ** As a support main, I think this item is really, really great. I think you solved a lot of support-centric design issues with the creation of this item. There are balance issues around it, and I think it still currently makes the other two options feel underwhelming - but this is still a well designed item that set a new standard for how bot-lane support gold income is going to work.

**2.) Xayah and Rakan ** Probably two of the best champions to come out of league in a long time. Powerful and impacting, perhaps even a bit TOO powerful, but a really classy set of champions with an awesome thematic, beautiful visuals, and some of the best kit design i've seen in forever. So many champions miss the mark from an 'animation' perspective. They feel sluggish or off the mark (IMO: this is the biggest problem with Ornn.) Not Xayah or Rakan - they are freakin' perfect in this aspect.

I can agree with this one. Lissandra often feels a bit forgotten.

they gutted ardent and toned down stoneplate double dipping interactions

they managed to get like 6-7 ADCs viable at the same time instead of 3

Ardent was on stupid levels of strong.

When you see Ardent in every game and Support winrates increasing where the Ardent is found...

Something is wrong.

It wasn't gutted so much as it was trimmed.

Buffing Gallo for a day. It was fun while it lasted

The Heimerdinger mini-rework

This got almost no attention, but I think it's one of the most successful mini-reworks Riot has ever done. The changes did exactly what they were meant to do: they gave him more versatility and skill expression, without taking away what makes him unique. His turrets are still important, but he has tools to impact the game outside of mindless split pushing and praying that enemies wander into his triple turret nest.

Encouraging players to level W first makes him much more interactive and fun in lane.

All three of his ultimates feel impactful and powerful.

Heimer is actually super fun right now. You should all try him, and appreciate what a good job Riot did.

Yea, Heimer is in a respectable spot, but I think most players carry this impression that he's underwhelming. In the right hands, he can be terrifying. This is a good one - I kinda forgot about the mini-rework.

A good change?

Making a buttload of champions viable. This is probably the season with the most viable champions in it.

item 3098 +10% Cooldown.

Evelynn +1 damage dealing ultimate that will deal more than 100 damage to an enemy with less than 100 health points remaining

As an AP Support main playing at high plat, I will still be going for Coin almost every time, though the 10% CDR is a nice start. I strongly feel It needs to reward aggressive play more than it currently does.

TBH... Chogath

Bringing an old champion that would have been an easy target for a rework back with really aggressive balance changes was a good move. Sure some people dont like him - but I feel like that's the right way to push older champs.

Giving them a huge strenght in one direction while massive weaknesess else where.
