Can we at least not be forced to Jungle with 4-man premades?
One of the issues I've had recently is that I'll end up being the Jungler on a team with a 4-man premade. Now, this isn't a direct complaint about the inherent nature of premades, but rather one where our ability to play as a team is seriously hampered.
Jungling is the most team-oriented role in the game. Unless you're playing an AFK-farm champion, you're ganking lanes to snowball your team and taking objectives for the sake of improving your team's odds of winning (or denying the other team). Entire games can be decided based on the action or inaction of the jungler, more-so than any other role in the game. Shouldn't that mean that one needs great communications with the majority of the team throughout the game?
Here is where my problem with Jungling for a 4-man premade comes in - there is a huge disconnect between a solo player and a 4-man. 3-man premades can already be difficult to come through to at times, but 4-man premades initiate a full-on mob mentality that is difficult to curve as a solo player. They can make decisions, execute plans, and even feed without giving a single crap about your input as the Jungler simply due to your not being a part of their group. Not that I'm faulting them for doing so, but it's simply human nature to believe in yourself/friends over total strangers. As a result, when I queue into Dynamic Queue as a Jungler and am matched with a 4-man premade, it feels really bad because I feel ignored or turn into the scapegoat immediately.
Therefore, should we allow an exemption for Dynamic Queue in which Solo Junglers CANNOT be matched with 4-man premades? What if it became an option over a mandate? Thoughts?
