since the removal of devourer...

A slew of fighters have been turned into garbage picks. Xin's winrate in diamond has been about 41%... As a diamond xin main having played with the changes im not surprised. There were no changes to xin this patch nor any for 6.11 so it appears i won't be coming back for some time.

It's ok if you dont like fighters, but if there are champions at a 41% winrate for several patch cycles it means there is actually something very wrong with your balance team. You just don't care. You don't care about me or my champions. So theres really no reason to play anymore. I havent played since the first two days 6.9 dropped and it looks like that will continue. I'm keeping my eye on things for now but if that winrate doesn't go up atleast 7-9% i just wont be playing this game. You need to make real changes to show that you care about fighter mains.

probably the fact that you use phrases such as "Rito doesnt care about me" makes me think you just a baby rager. Have some sympathy they got like 100 champs to balance that shit dont happen overnight on top of that they got to keep the game fresh and exciting you aint anything special Rito doesnt care about you personaly they care about their profits when it all comes down to it

My point is that if a bunch of champions are at 41-43% winrate after a patch drops, they should immediately prioritize those champs for balance. Instead it seems they replaced devourer and rageblade and jsut didnt give a shit about the consequences. If they werent going to try to balance out fighters with the removal of devourer, they shouldnt have done it to begin with.

They're more concerned with the champions that have higher than a 60% win rate, because while not having every champion be competitively viable is bad, having a few champions that are pick or ban 100% is game breaking. It's not that they don't want to, it's that they just have higher priorities. There needs to be a big patch that deals with just purely balance - don't add anything to the game, no new items, none of that shit. Just fix what you have right in front of you BEFORE you throw something in there that would break everything apart. That way, when something new is introduced and there are problems, we know without a doubt who the culprit is. As it is now, if something is looking broken, like a 60% winrate, they're not sure if it's the champion itself, an item, or a synergy with another champion, they just don't know. So they make a wild guess and change something and hope it works, and look at the results after. It's a poor way to balance, but until they set aside time to balance without adding new things or making drastic changes, it's the only way they can do it.

Try him in another role perhaps? Different builds? Fighters are hard to balance, don't give up hope. Rito is scared to do right by them because when they're strong, they're REALLY strong. Juggernaut meta just pissed all over fighters is all, we're still feeling the repercussions of one of the worst patches ever. I think fighters in particular are currently being screwed by the marksmen junglers. Fighters usually dominated the jungle before, but now the marksmen junglers are the best...

Ive tried a few builds ive even played him top and my experience has literally been: i am a liability on my team because champions like graves do more damage and are tankier than me while being ranged. I couldnt seem to get a positive winrate and if im literally playing to lose the game for my team why should i play at all? The worst part is when you are about to lose and your team shames you and blames you for picking a shit champ. And you know its true that you lost them the game at champ select and wasted their time.

This is kinda why the concept of being an "x" main of any champ is a bad idea. You should pick champions to suit your team comp, or to counter your opponents. You should never stick yourself to only being able to play one champion. How you got diamond without knowing that baffles me. I assume you're a one-trick who got that high because of your mechanics being flawless with your main, Xin. Though odds are, you'd be a much better player if you played other champions as well that could fill roles in team comps that you needed.

Basically, League of Legends has 100+ champions. Try another one. Not every champion can be expected to be competitively viable at all times. Imagine if you were a Karthus main right now. Can you imagine? I can't. It's too painful. I might cry.

Yeah, really.

The new items were great for him.

I'd heard Anivia was shit currently and they're similar champions.

First of all, how? Anivia is a control/zoning mage, whereas Karthus is a DPS damage carry.

Second of all, yeah Anivia was under-performing (her buffs might have helped her), but Karthus?

Is doing fine. Really high win rate, but he's probably not OP. Low play rate and all.

The Rod of Ages/catalyst change made his laning phase much more bearable.

With Ekko, Kindred, Sivir and Malzahar being popular right now I would be scared to try it myself.

I think Xin's drop in winrate might have more to do with the item 3147 changes.

As much as I hate saying this because I know what it does feel like to have your main nerfed and left in the dust for a bit, Xin, Yi, and Jax had such an insanely unfair, disgusting, brokenly overpowered period of Guinsoo's and Devourer. I'm glad that period is over and I'm just happy I don't have to see him anymore. I know you do main him and it sounds like I'm being petty (maybe I am) but I suggest just playing other junglers/fighters for a while until they bring Xin back into viability.
