What's the point in Mordes shield generating based on max health

If his shield values don't scale with his maximum health?

The shield values are 90+30*level more or less the same as on live. Why doesn't it directly scale with his health if they truly wanted to promote a tankier Morde?

The biggest differences are:

  • Rank 1 skills generate as much shields as Rank 5 skills.
  • Morde's shield generation is no longer reduced by enemy MR.

They reduced his damage and ratios across the board tho

That's how bruisers work. It doesn't matter how much damage you deal if you can stay alive long enough.

I can't say if the numbers are too high or too low at the moment, but the concept isn't flawed.

What's the point in reducing his damage and making him tankier if he doesn't bring anything to the team still?

The idea is that he has a longer period to deal his damage.

Yeah, and pentakill morde is also a WIP... thats why they nerfed its qaulity and made it only worth 250RP, right?

Hmm.. is the damage done to his shield reduced by armor and magic resistance? If so, then Morde would naturally want to build armor and magic resist in order to make his shield more effective. By adding this max health effect, they make all defensive stats an efficient option. By not increasing the cap on his shield as he gets more health, they are establishing that he is not a true tank- he is a regen tank.

The shield generates regardless of damage dealt.

Regen tank is somewhat okay, but he has no natural health gain beyond his ultimate

Well, by fighting and using his abilities, his health will go down much slower than if he just stands there. I guess regen tank isn't the perfect term for it, but it's a similar idea.
