Does exposed weakness apply the bonus damage on champon spawned minions?

Ex: If I am Elise and I have exposed weakness, do my spiderlings deal more damage, do they apply exposed weakness also, and if so do I get the damage buffed then or am i considered grouped with them?

The spiderlings will deal 3% more damage only you take 1.5% more damage While it is spiderlings doing damage, you are the source of said damge
