Basically anyone with a low cooldown ultimate...

Kog'maw goes from being an immobile champion to someone with a 100ms boost on demand.

Good luck ever escaping from a Kassadin or Diana or Akali again. Good luck ever catching a Kassadin again.

Not quite sure what the huge thing is with changing all these effects to be "whenever you use your ultimate". Like Zeke's, and now this? There's such a huge disparity in ultimate cooldowns, it seems like a difficult balance mechanism.

How is a champion with a long ult cooldown like Karthus ever going to feel good about anything that occurs only on ultimate use, when champions like kogmaw have an almost non existent cooldown?

Does udyr get the bonus whenever he uses R, or does he get entirely locked out of all of these things too?

Keep in mind that it also has a 25 second (IIRC) cooldown to prevent it from being TOO silly.

The cooldown prevents it from being abused too hard, but the point is it's available on demand. If you take a champion with a 1min+ ultimate cooldown, then they're vulnerable when their ultimate is on cooldown.

Then you take Kog'maw - his ult will not be on cooldown. So unless you know he recently used his ult and got the MS boost on that use, he'll have it available to help reposition.

Of course, having changed to a 60 second cooldown makes it more in line with most ultimate cooldowns, which is much more fair.

Compare a single kog ult to a single karthus ult, and most of your questions are answered.

Also not every rune has to be viable on every champ, nami is never going to feel good about grasp of the undying but that doesnt make it a bad rune.

The champs you listed are already champs that you wont get away from to begin with unless they don't have any wards up and you have flash (Except Kassadin and Diana). This also can benefit adcs like Ashe and Draven who can just catch up from the bonus movement speed. Plus its like a Essence Reaver effect, after you cast your ultimate. This can be really beneficial to a lot of champions right now.

Oooo I can imagine what a Nasus play would be like with this. Wither somebody then ult and run at them if they use any dashes. Or ult if you are low to get a MS boost to run away from a gank.

Wait would Karma work with this rune? With how low the CD can get lowered, tank Karma can really benefit when she uses her empowered W.
