Thinks like MF + Jhin Q chunking me without them bouncing their minions, or Zed one comboing people while missing his shurikens. The game has serious issues when people are rewarded for not fulfilling the conditions that the game (allegedly) sets for their success. This season could not end fast enough.

His Q hits harder everytime it bounces off a minion/enemy it killed. So if he Q'd you, the damage wouldn't chunk you, except if we're talking about a lvl 18 Jhin with at least 5 items.

The bounce is for a long range poke that chunks an enemy from a safe distance. You can trade back when she walks up and weaves a Q into her trade combo but you cannot respond to a bounced Q. All you can do is not be in position where it hits you. But you can't punish her for the attempt.
Both use cases of Q are fair because the ability is weaker in a trade (you're getting chunked by a combo of actions, not Q by itself) and you can respond to a trade, and it's strong as a poke but you can position to avoid it.
