Because of the way Riot does voiceover work, there wouldn't be updates for new champions.
At the very least he can have a few focused voice lines for those he has personal relationships with. After, he can have perhaps faction/group focused mocking shouts that will then be able to be generalized to newer champions.

Especially since he included Ezreal, a champion he would be likely would not encounter in top lane.

Lame, I know, but that's just how things go (though I really wish they would keep doing VUs without it being a full VGU, tired of looking at Mordekaiser's pizza feet and other champions that sorely need visual updates like Tryndamere and Ezreal)
