Is the REAL cancer of League... Riot's Greed?

Simply put, is Riot destroying the game through their own greed and obsession with the LCS. I understand that the pro scene is very important and creates a wealth of interest in the game but does the game not have to be good first in order to generate significant interest. At the moment, each LCS match consist of one major teamfight and then its over since snowballing is currently so powerful.

Does creating a balanced game take more effort and reduce less profit for a company? It is certainly more sustainable but have Riot made such crippling changes to the game because Assassin/Bruiser/Fighter players are the ones that spend the most money on skins? Why do some champions get tons and tons of skins when some other champions on have one or two? I understand that popular champions are cool but there ARE other champions in League and ignoring them is cutting off a potential source of profit?

I ask simply, is Riot too obsessed with making money that they are willing to sacrifice the game's integrity over it? I saw World of Warcraft go down a similar a path a few years ago and it was not good for the game or the people playing it. The developers were in constant denial until the declining subscriber numbers meant they could ignore the problem no longer and they needed to get their fingers out their arse and do something. Blizzard seemed to have learnt that lesson as both Legion and Battle for Azeroth are leaps and bounds higher quality then what Warlords was.

Is it time for Riot to learn that same lesson? Profit should never come at the cost of the game's integrity. At what point does it take for players to say "I'm done" and walk away after years of hoping that this game will return to be what they loved originally?

They could easily make more money by creating a balanced game whereby players could pick any and all of their favorite champs, and do as well with them as riots small pool of current welfare-receiving favorites. Yasuo Zed Talon.

Yeah, I don't understand why they play favourites with champs.
