When I'm in the actual GAME, things are fine. When I'm in champ select, the client tries to fuck me over every chance it gets.
I'm in a ranked game, and I'm looking up "Who counters nocturne" online. There are ten seconds left when I click on a champ to play, but after I select the champ, I'm not allowed to lock in! Ten seconds later, I'm kicked out, and I lose lp for it! That's HORSESHIT.
What am I supposed to do about that?
Ben Sharpio3 votesLol yeah, basically youre not supposed to be doing anything while the client is running or you get screwed over. Don't watch youtube, don't watch streams, don't go on the internet (unless you have a NASA computer).
Beowulf88063 votesIf you go to the help and support, you can find posts like this there too. The answer is always a copy paste, check network settings. Running through all riots troubleshooting does nothing. The new client has some nice features and upgrades but it's extremely slow for a lot of people and riot won't admit it, even with low spec enabled.
Vanic9983 votesIn general the client has a lot of problems. I sent a ticket to riot twice about this and they kept blaming my ISP despite the fact that the old client worked well for me the whole time I used it. Riot refuses to acknowledge the real problem.

Cavesloth1 votesIf your using close client during game you can get around the "forever" wait to get to postgame screen by opening a new league just as its transitioning from the champ select screen to the games load screen. Unfortunately this does sometimes (not every time though) make it bug out and you can't resize the client back to the correct size, but closing and reloading the client is still faster than that ridiculous wait.

SSJTribe1 votesSame here. Yesterday I lost some LP for dodging but it wouldn't let me lock in a champ to ban. The countdown reached zero and I was stuck there for like 3 more minutes. I was chatting with a friend the whole time too, so I know it wasn't frozen or anything. This happened twice.

Pandemic Punch1 votesI have two PC's that run all modern games. One is an intel board and the other is an AMD board. Client is extremely laggy on both machines. Both machines are consistent with the lag though. One is not faster or slower than the other. BUT IT IS STILL VERRRRRRYYYYY LAGGGGYYYYYYYY.
I appreciate the new client, but hopefully they figure this out soon. The old client wasn't very responsive either and it also lagged. New client lags a lot more though.
Jinzo Torrance1 votesNot for me, but now I have to play LoL in window borderless mode (which bugs out since it doesn't show on the task bar) otherwise I can't alt-tab without taking 5 seconds each time I try to alt-tab back into the game or out of it.
AgeOfTheMage1 votesYeah, not to mention in some league games, like heres what happens: 1 league game: i average 50 fs, i'm happy the game right after: averaging 8 fps, not happy. yet I don't do anything asides join a new game, no new programs, nothin.
