New champ designs in a nutshell.

For you to have an idea :

Older champ, Veigar ult damage : 175 / 250 / 325 (+ 75% AP), when target at 33% or lower health (max damage) : 350 / 500 / 650 (+ 150% AP)

That is a single target pure damage ult, which its job is nothing but to do damage, granted it does do a lot of damage.

Then enter a new champ, Neeko .

Ult damage : 200 / 425 / 650 (+ 130% AP)... In a AOE, that aoe stuns... That gives her a shield, that can be casted from stealth (invisible)...

Yeah, this is totally fine riot, nothing to see here at all, no power creep, nothing, everything is perfectly balanced, and it is very fair for neeko to have gigant aoe stunning veigar ults that can come from stealth, new champs are totally not made ridiculous to sell, of course not.

bad example.

veigar also reaches 30% higher ap values on average than neeko could, and his e is more powerful than most champion ultimates. so there is a lot of his power budget in that ability.

i do think her ult is a tad overtuned, but the comparison between the two champions is kindof shitty.

id rather make the comparison to Fiddlesticks

You realize Veigar has infinitely scaling ap, right?

Agreed on Neeko and disagreed on Veigar.

I mean sure Veigar slaps people with a fish with his abilities but late game it turns into a full skillshot bullet hell with only one ability to rely on for defense.

No, not his E; his ultimate.

They are not comparable Neeko ult is used at the start of a fight and works best as a follow up or engage and can hit any champion in the area whereas Veigar ult is used near the end and used as a execute on one person. They do two different things how is that power creep the only thing in her kit that is close to a power creep is her w but that is it.
