You cant even expect from your team to not die when you are split pushing these days.
Todays Diamond is like Gold in S4. You have to sit with your team and guide them every step they should do or they just die.

A match is meant to contain 10 people of approximately equal skill.
With you split-pushing, a team-fight could occur with your team being outnumbered.
Should a 5v4, 5v3, 4v3, or what have you occur, the team with more people present is more likely to win.
Now, Im not saying you're wrong for split-pushing. Just that it makes sense for your team to die while you're doing it. Especially since by the time you reach the point split-pushing is a thing, a lot of champs don't have to care about towers all that much anymore.
it makes sense for his team to lose the fight, not to die.
when you lose a fight you lose ground and hold on objectives overtime. That doesn't mean you die unless you overcommit and get rolled like an idiot
Splitpushing is really only good in competitive as there are too many ways to hard engage or pick someone due to gaps in vision or just plain poor positioning.
In fact, LCS teams train a lot to have 1-4s working. Just like lane swaps before - some things are just not that effective in soloq.
It's always "these days", as if it's never been a problem in the past.
