Honestly really god damn tired of poking draven for him to fully heal himself in one auto. It's a fucking joke that riot was so willing to nerf cait but leave draven unscathed? Like at least cait fell off. At least she didn't build a few items and proceed to 1v5. This game literally pisses me off. Riot had all this time to update thornmail, buff Diana do a bunch of great things, but deaths dance has been talked about for so much longer and yet NOBODY did anything about it? Nobody did anything about how bullshit and lack of counterplay draven is? Make him miss an axe? Okay sure but can you really do that if you don't even see him? Adc mains wanted to QQ about "omg no assassin reaction time" So they made lb a fucking kite mage who literally has to wait an eternity to assassinate someone but yet draven autoes you twice in less than 2 seconds and you die? Like okay adcs I c u.

That's literately pissed on. "Literately pissed off" is an illogical impossibility. You could stretch it to someone sitting on you and pissing away from you (Literately pissed off from), but that's it.

Actually, people can literally be pissed off. It's become a standard to know literally doesn't actually mean literally. While incorrect, it's still correct due to the pure fact that it's used as an emphasis tool now instead of being what the word was suppose to originally mean. "English is become shit".

Aside from that, the English language was made up by people and can be changed according to the people for the people. As long as enough people accept it to be so, it can and will be correct.

Ranged could use something like 70% benefit from Lifesteal. I get it, it's 'all that lets them survive,' but pray do tell why they-- literally the game's one duo lane-- need to survive quite so hard.

Maybe one lifesteal item for ranged. I don't know.

It does seem to be a proliferated problem. Maybe it's just like a Syndrome thing?... if every team has a drain-happy ADC, then no team's ADCs need to be nerfed... or something.

Theres nothing wrong with lifesteal on adcs, BT is a pretty tame item, its expensive as hell.

DD is only used on draven because draven is broken himself, lifesteal is only a problem ON DRAVEN because he does TOO MUCH damage so he gains too much health back.

Jhin usually goes warlords and thus doesn't need lifesteal.

Kinda pointless when a single auto heals half your health with some items which is when you´d usually buy lifesteal anyway.

Anything I suggest is usually a balance paradigm shift, I think the game could use to move away from sustain on these types and to make it feel less like 'I tried to face a sustain without wounds.'

But, these sound like Draven changes, maybe he needs to get less LS back on his Q specifically?

As long as assassins exist in this game at all, marksmen will need and will keep ability to restore their health in no time. Otherwise assassins would need to be balanced as ordinary damage dealers, and not about their success-failure pattern like their are now.

Probably is, assassin's full spell rotation should blow up any ADC, but item 3812 negates this and item 3072 lets them sustain enough to kill you. That combo is seriously broken to bits. Especially if you throw item 3046 into the mix.

Finally someone realizes it. Draven, the CHAMPION, is overpowered and his design is cancerous (basically every kill he gets is like getting a shutdown) and he basically has a stronger Tumble dmg boost on every auto.

Xayah. I build it on her right after Essence Reaver (Healing synergizes pretty well with the nuke that is her E (despite only healing 5% of its damage, that's still a lot in a team fight, where you can expect it to total over 5k damage), and gives her the last 10% CDR that ER can't give, and lets me hold off on defensive items for longer). And I buy it on any ADC when the assassin will stay a problem (i.e. just doesn't really fall off (Zed) or still finds ways to reach me easily (Evelynn, Elise, etc.)) or that they have a diver/brusier that just can't be peeled with anything short of an Anivia W or Taliyah ult (Olaf, Xin Zhao, any tank built as full AP, Shyvana, etc.). Overall, it's not a terribly common item for me to buy on an ADC (unless Xayah), but it's still bought.

But the problem is Draven. Draven's busted, and has been busted. He just hasn't been popular for a while.

It doesn't impact her problematic early game at all, and it barely makes a difference in attack speed until her last levels. Even then, you'd be extremely hard-pressed to tell the difference in her damage output.

If you don't think she's worse, then you either haven't been playing her both before and after her nerfs, or you are bad at analyzing your performance.

The thing is, in theory. 34% AS decrease at level 18 seems huge.

Caitlyn has 0,543 base AS.

She use to get 68%/base, which is about 0,9 AS.

Now she gets 34%/base, which is about 0,72 AS.

Overall, she lost about 1 AA every 5 seconds.

Not that big of a nerf, and even then, here AS is not the issue. It's the combination of traps, safety (when you look at Marksman class as a whole), lane dominance and headshots on nearly everything

1 fewer auto per five seconds doesn't sound bad.

A 20% drop in auto attack DPS sounds pretty damn significant.

What I wanted to say was that I am not sure this is going to take Caitlyn out of the proplay.

I am not even sure this is going to remove her from redside permaban status.

It's only a 20% drop in auto attack DPS, assuming that Caitlyn doesn't build a single AS item, doesn't have any Runes/Masteries that grant her AS, or any allied AS buffs.

Realistically it's more of about a 5% to 15% drop in DPS. Still a sizeable nerf.

Dude, they HALVED her attack speed growth.

This means that, at level 18, you now have 34% less attack speed than pre-nerf.

That is 850 gold worth of stats, GONE.

I'd say that's more than a "slap on the wrist". Just because she's still playable doesn't mean she wasn't nerfed ffs.

Usually dominant means in terms of winrate, not pick rate. If you consider high pick rate and low win rate dominant, there isn't much to be had from discussing this further.

thats 36% attack speed at 18. thats a full items worth of attack speed.

900 gold in value just gone from her kit.

that said its the wrong kind of nerf because it leaves cait insanely frustrating to play against in lane and with her traps, and ALSO makes her frustrating for people who play cait as she gets clunkier and clunkier and less fun to play.

And where, exactly, will he get this farm?

This isn't Dota, the carry can't just sit in the lane or jungle and farm for 20 minutes to get back in the game. If Draven is farming at T2 tower at bot, PUNISH HIM.

Push top. Push mid. Get Herald. Dive the underleveled ADC with no items. Initiate a teamfight 5v4 or 5v3 wherever Draven isn't to exacerbate your lead.

If your default strategy while ahead is to passively wait for the game to end naturally, you deserve to lose your lead, if not the game.

You have the lead, act like it. Act decisively, act with purpose, act before the enemy acts for you.

Don't pussyfoot around until the 0/5/2 Draven gets enough freefarm that you can't handle him anymore.

To be fair Draven was always strongest with early lifesteal. Like legit when was he meta last time? Season 3? That was the meta when every adc rushed bt.
