The fact I got matched with these guys is a joke
I'm the plat 2 Jax on my smurf. I've taken the liberty of covering up the other players names so they don't get shamed here.
My friends wanted to play and asked to do some ranked, they were plat 5 and gold 1. I said sure, why not - they're both pretty good and could easily be much higher rated. We get into this game and the enemy team had a gold 5 and a gold 3. To the Fizz's credit, he did okay but he's also playing Fizz so that isn't saying much. He made some pretty bad decisions, something I'd expect from a player that isn't able to play on par with mid/high plat players. The gold 5 Morgana was making some ill advised plays but again, what do you expect with a gold 5 in a mid plat range game?
This is a joke. This shouldn't be a thing at all, even if it means making restrictions on who you queue with tighter. I shouldn't have gotten 23 LP for this win, ganking everything was easy and I just split pushed while objectives were down and they had no idea how to handle it. They shouldn't have even lost LP for this, they shouldn't have been in this game.
I'm guessing there was probably another premade on the enemy team but sorry, this just shouldn't be a thing. A gold 5 should not be playing against plat 2s. In normals, whatever but in ranked? How can you honestly even say this gives either side a meaningful indication of skill? Yes it's only one game but this should never happen. And barring extremely high MMR or duo queues with extreme MMR differences, this didn't happen.
I understand you're sticking with dynamic queue, your funeral. But if you're going to, you need to tighten restrictions significantly on who can queue with each other. You shouldn't have someone in a game where they are practically two leagues below the players they're playing against (you didn't just have 1 here, you had two). So please, fix this because they didn't deserve to lose LP for this game.
