Sister Item to Infinity Edge like Hydras.

Infinity Mace 60-65 Bonus AD 40% Crit

Unique Passive: Increases critical damage by 20-25%

Basically just an option for less Crit damage but more Crit chance.

I object to this item. I don't think Yasuo needs access to 80% crit in one item. ESPECIALLY when he still has his tank build to rely on

man fuck yasuo, can he not be the center of every crit discussion...followed by trynd.

everyone hates yas anyway so why does he get to have such influence on an entire item class GAWD RITO.

That's what happens when you give a champion a passive that doubles all of his gains on a stat. The same would be happening if there was a champion who doubled all AD he got from items, or movement speed, or attack speed. As soon as a champion like that exists, the stat's balance becomes centralized around them. This is why I don't think CertainlyT should be allowed to design champions.

actually doubled movement speed wouldnt be such a bad thing because of diminishing returns on flat movement speed.

Yeah, Crit needs some opening up. The whole 'there's one crit build' is kind of boring.

Shouldn't they have something more like Lightbringer that has utility and a bit of ad/crit, though? IE has its niche and we should keep that, lest we give sharper crit+critdmg options to non-ADCs. Itemizing always affects all champs, remember!

A series of objection:

  1. Essence Reaver feels already like a sister item to Infinity Edge. item 3508 is for spellweaving carries and item 3031 is for autoattack reliant carries, like item 3074 is for aggressive bruisers and item 3748 is for beefier guys.

  2. Crit. Chance is a stat that's made with the idea of needing multiple items for a reliable usage. Currently one crit item is insufficient, two crit items are barely enough, three crit items are very good, on the verge of overkill. An item like yours would make two crit items more than enough, freeing one item slot for crit users and altering the balance of their class.

  3. A Mace feels more hard-hitting than a Sword (life Infinity Edge seems to be). Thus, I'd have the Mace having higher crit. modifier and the Sword having more crit. chance xD

you see... Theres a hydra for fighters and bruisers because they generally lack great waveclear and have low attack speed.

Crit? theres 0 reason, ever, to not build item 3046 item 3031 and item 3087 or item 3085. 70% crit chance + extremely powerful waveclear from attack speed AND aoe.
