I hope we can go back to one ranked queue in S8

It's one thing to get auto filled but an ally getting auto filled sometimes just causes uneven games due to the lack of experience in the role.

Queue times have gone up this season due to two different ranked queues and whether you like to hear it or not some people like to play Flex competitively.

I remember our new dev talking about how they're in the development of a ranked queue but won't be similarly to DQ, hopefully this new mode will be able to support one queue because queue times and lack of people playing a role due to two different queues is really putting a strain on the game.

There have always been 2 queues, Flex has just taken the place of 5v5s. I'd be pretty pissed off if they removed flex and the ability to do ranked as a group larger than 2. Queue times have not gone up because of the split between solo and flex, they went up because of role selection. People complained that they were getting their secondary role and getting autofilled too much so riot changed the algorithm.

Why are people still complain about autofill? In the past 30 games I've had I've been autofilled once and that was to ADC. Out of those 30 games I've also only gotten my secondary role twice. So that's 90% of the time I've gotten my primary role. That's pretty damn good in my eyes.

It's not really being autofilled is the issue (for me), it's when you get an ally who has zero knowledge in a role and then proceeds to not know what they're doing and for some players they can't even stand being auto filled because they only practice or play solely one role. Usually about every other game there's someone who's autofilled.

Also two 5v5 did exist but you needed a 5 man to start one while the other was solo/duo, the difference between flex is that you can have any set amount aside from 4, and it could be said that they're people that enjoy flex or else it wouldn't be there.
