You don't even need to sidestep it. Sometimes in melee range (with neither champion moving) it will miss for no reason.

i do the same, i never knew what expunge went, but that is what it will forever be known to be me.(a rarely say champs ults names, but current one is dumb)

EDIT: i just read def for expunge. i understand now, since you use it to remove people from the game.

EDIT 2: i remember now, that it removed poison to deal dmg. i bring shame upon myself.

I call it "Twitch's ult". There are very, very few ultimates that I'll bother giving their name, with the main ones being Final Spark (because Touhou reference), Gnar (because GNAARRR!!!), and weird ones like Transform! and Mantra.

Here are a few exceptions, and the names that I call them:

Ashe : Giant Ice Arrow Annie : Pedobear Fiddlesticks : SURPRISE PARTY! Katarina : Starting the Blender Jhin : Pew pew pew Orianna : Sucker Ball Quinn : Valor To Me!/Racecar/Fast as fuk boiiii Soraka : BAAAAAA (My teammates have to make goat noises in VC for me to ult) Syndra : Ball too Hard Vladimir : Insert and STD here

Ya, cuz everyone knows what that means. If you just say "twitch's E", I'd guess it was expunge (or contaminate or w/e it is now) but since I don't play twitch, I'm not sure. But honestly, there are real issues to be discussed in this game, and ability names are not one of them. Let riot do the creative part, that's easily their strongest aspect here.

They call it "rat a tat tat" because that mimics the sound a machine gun makes when fired. Also, "spray and pray" is not a good name for it, as he clearly places the shots precisely (as opposed to randomly).
