What do you think of the Veigar in season 5?

Personally, I can see him becoming not just viable, but competitively viable; to the point where Riot may nerf him. All of his counters (AD mids/assassins, early game gankers, high mobility champs) have gotten nerfed over and over, giving him the ability to safely farm in the early game without much worry of getting ganked or cheesed pre-lvl 6. His kit gives him everything desired in a champ at the moment: Guaranteed kill potential, sustained damage, AOE hard CC (that lasts 2.5 seconds), and an easy to use kit.

I don't know, but personally I have found him to be extremely strong thus far. I don't fear the Lee Sins like I did the last few seasons, thanks to the jungle changes.

Any thoughts or ideas on how Veigar will do this season? See Riot nerfing him/reworking him this upcoming season?

lol. Well at the moment his win rate is still shit, so I doubt he will get nerfed any time soon. It is when the Koreans realize he is OP that NA will start using him properly.

Keep it on the DL. I've been playing Veigar since I started playing League. I love him, and he is in a very good spot right now for the very reasons you mentioned. Right now, ranged AP poke is the meta, and Veigar is very good in that type of meta. Just ban Jayce (and maybe Yasuo) and have no worries.

Yeah. Yasuo just got buffed, and that is likely Veigar's worst counter at the moment. That Wind wall kills him.

I mean the best way to counter that Is poke with w ( which does some nasty damage to non mr builds,or stun THEN w, but even then it's a matter of do you wanna waste your stun and risk being ganked if you don't have flash
