is TALON supposed to be a Mid or a Toplaner, Riot?

Because clearly he can BARELY perform well in both lanes! And all of this happened post the Preseason patch. He used to be placed in top 5 W.R in both Top and Mid, now he's placed No.50 in top at 43% win ratio, and mid between 20-30 barely at 50% w.r.

It's ok for to perform poorly after the new runes system "although yes he can still 1shot, but, who can't?" , but when it comes to the "popular" ronin , yea let's buff him just because he's played more often.

Talon top is the very definition of cancer against melees. I wish it had a 30% win rate.

Honestly Talon's rework left him in a weird spot. He's decent vs mid lane opponents who don't play passive, however he's awful at forcing fights+trades. He's decent top lane cause he can force fights and trades, however he loses to a majority of the ranged top laners, most tanks and quite a few bruisers.

Tbh I think Talon might need his old E back if they want him to remain as a mid laner.

Gonna need a quote on that. ~49% winrate with a 4% pick rate is a tad low yeah, but nothing as dramatic as a 43% or 20-30 or whatever.

it's fine you want your main to be buffed... but don't come fabricating issues that the champion does not have. Talon does his job relatively well and is in no need of any buffs

Thank God someone else agrees. I've been playing Talon for literally ever and this is the 1st time i've actually felt like my ONLY damage source has been from Duskblade. My best advice to riot is to give him his old rake and ult back and to change his passive to dealing damage in a burst to proc instead of land 3 attacks then aa to proc.

I also think his blink was so very crucial to his kit that I wish they would stick it anywhere. I've given to examples of how to do this

giving him a blink circle on his ult
when in ult, his Q blinks instead of leaps
his E is still parkour but when used on enemy it's a blink but puts it on cooldown so you can't jump over walls for 18 seconds or so
