D shield alone gives him such a great lane phase. Have you ever been flash empowered q,ed ignited ? I believe most mages don't really have that capability, especially at level 2, not to mention he can build enough ap to do insane damage and be at 4k hp.

PrinceOfStorms1 votesVlad's early game is really bad, because his CDs are ~10 seconds. Just trade with him when his Q is down, and CC him while his E is charging. Suddenly you'll make vlad players want to kill themselves.

Fawksea1 voteshe's got a shitty laning phase, play him and learn how he works then see how easy his matchup is, he needs 8+ sec after using his Q so as soon as you see that lil red bar at the end back the fuck away or take free 200+ damage, pretty simple and it's all he does, the he has to Q again, and wait for Q for another, so even if he spams it thats 16 sec free to farm with like what, 2 seconds to back away?
