Master Yi theme is speed and agility meanwhile hes one of the least mobile champions in the game..

Almost every other champion in the game has something that hard counters Yi, either dash, run, stun, silience, knockback, invisibility, etc. but Yi has like nothing that counter.. anything?

Hes the only champion in the game wtihout any sort of a cc.

Depending on his build he either has not enough damage to kill before ult ends or not enough survivability to deal ANY damage.

Wihout ult he feels like an old man on a wheelchair..

Just how hes supposted to compete against any modern champion/rework?

With his ult, a dash and speed boost wont be enough to escape. He is immune to slows and can alpha strike every couple of seconds

Alpha strike lets him dodge almost any ability in the gamewhile teleporting him to a target, which,unless is a ren or panth, he will outdamage. Getting him a kill and increasing his ultimate duration, giving him more speed.

With ammout of cc in this game you will sit entire ult duration either stunned or chasing someone who has a speed boosts (ryze or karma for example).

If what you are saying is true, why do so many players have trouble kicking his ass? Low elo games with him in it for the most part end up in his favor, even if he's unable to carry the team.

So with Yi, he's balanced around his ultimate, his massive buff steroid. Sure, without it he's sluggish and a bit meh, but he's not really intended to fight without it
