It's embarassing how far this game has fallen

New champions are coming out that are massively more powerful then anything older in the game. Riot have compromised their integrity, same as Blizzard has. Champions like Pyke have no place in the game, especially not supports because he betrays the premise of what a support is. League is being sold out from under people's feet.

And the horrible thing is... nobody cares. They are all too busy worrying about their own elo and their own position. So League will only continue to get worse.

Oh look, another thread with the same old talking points that have been regurgitated for the last 5 years.

Out of the last 20 champion releases, there are like 6 who are relevant. New releases aren't weak, but they are balanced within 2 months. A fair amount of time to learn champs & see how people perform on them, other than inital release weeks where play and win rate spike based on people not knowing the champ and trying them.

Just look at top lane. Oh boy time to play a melee bruiser and have some fun, the enemy goes Kennen or some other ranged bully. Welp at least the champ select screen was fun for a few seconds. There are a lot of broken champs that need to be fixed but riot won't and everyone will just complain if you touch their main/role. Then you have a Pyke that walks to bot lane then presses r and then the announcer says pentakill. While I don't mind Pyke his ult is redonkulous. It is also annoying that most adc's just right click all the time dealing 400+ health an AA and are not extreme in terms of mechanical skill. I like this game when no one plays someone like Kennen, or truly broke champs like Akali, and Zoe

Oh boy time to play GP and get fucked by literally everything. Not to worry though, i´m sure Riot will buff hi--oh no they won´t, because he climbed 2% in winrate after the ult fix, despite still being a shit champion.

One day you people will realize that not all 140 champions can be in the spotlight at the very same time for hundreds of reasons.

He's not unplayable, just not top tier /shrug

You could argue Akali is super trash too, hence her 45% winrate, but nobody does that because people who actually play her are at like 55+.

I don't care if my champ is not top tier, I just want to play the game. When we play a top laner who is not considered top tier, we will just get counter picked by a Kennen and then we can not play the game. I love kled, but fighting Kennen is aggravating because I can not attack him comfortably until I get to lvl 3, but at that point, He has used his abilities and aa out of my range so now I'm at half health. Also, the reason Akali's winrate is so low is because she is not too easy to play mechanically speaking. lower elo players or people picking her up do not do well. Her heal on q gives her 200+ health every couple of seconds, and you can not target her or see her in her shroud unless she comes out. (aoe abilities do not directly target her so that does not count.) She does so much damage and can almost always escape a fight.

Ah yes, Pyke , the champion with the 48% winrate and 14% playrate. Look at his power.

Much stronger than Jax , one of the original 40 champs. I mean, jax only has 52% winrate with a 17.8% playrate! he needs buffs!

It's a good thing Kassadin the original 40 champs Shaco all suck and are weak Zilean It would be a nightmare if they were viable Janna (51.4;6.8 | 53.1;5.3 | 51.7;4.7 | 52.5;7.7)

He said support so none of this makes sense he's saying that some of the new champs are broken and make no sense for the role riot is saying they will be used in. Like the new "ADC" come on. Also most champs in this game are unbalanced let's be real here lol also Janna is pure garbage lol also do they have an ult that insta kills champs under %25 health that can be repeated or goes invisible and speeds up oh wait can also rip people in and stun them.

Literally first sentence of the post bud, put your glasses on.

The statistics prove janna is actually stronger than pyke, or at least better at winning games. And she almost always has been. I think 52.5% is the lowest I've ever seen her winrate.

Naming, with not nearly enough commas, the highlights of pyke's kit does not change the fact that his winrate is a full 2% under 50, and AT LEAST 3.4% under all of the champs I just mentioned.

So, in conclusion, no matter how pyke makes you F E E L, he does not make you W I N as much as janna, who is "pure garbage."

Looking at winrate is terrible when determining a champs strength, most of the time. When you have someone like Janna, who mind you is very simple and easy to pick up, versus someone like Pyke who lower elo and newer/first-time Pyke players will not do good with, of course, his win rate will be low. Look at Akali, for example, her winrate is garbage but she is very, very strong and can 1v1 pretty much every champ in the game. If played well she also does decent in team fights thanks to her shroud and easy to access escape routes.

No? It can just be misleading If you don't quote the playrate with it

What if a champ had 65% winrate. Are you going to tell me pyke is still better if he can 1v1 them?

Also, all statistics are taken from Plat+ to avoid the low elo argument. And pyke is no harder than janna anyway; he's just flashier.

Here's the thing, the recent Gameplay Thoughts (the January 18th one) shows that they are listening more than ever. You gotta remember everything for them rides on League doing well, because they have no plan B available at all right now, and maybe for not another year or two. I've been critical of them a lot more recently, but I know they've learned time and time again. Top's been an issue since last year, and that is in part an issue with them lacking (or not telling us of) toplaners on the live design and balance team (Scarizard was the last known toplaner on the balance/live design team).

I dont worry about my elo tho game is much more fun since i dont take it as serius as before.

The new champs are just more and more irritating. Its less about them being good, and more about being so miserable to play against they tilt you into losing. And soon we will have our own ults slammed into our faces

This is why Riot doesn't listen to the boards, people complaining about the 48% win rate support who statistically does LESS damage than even most SUPPORTS, let alone other champions.
