Any other Quinn players scared of the removal of her blind?

Quinn PBE Feedback Thread

This is a huge part of what makes quinn great vs other ads because of her short attack range. Hope they compensate her well :/

Nearly every time I play Quinn mid, my whole team blows up at me. Lots of "gg" "why quinn mid" "we have no ap now" etc.

How the **** is this supposed to work out? Do you really think people in solo queue are that willing to work around a Quinn mid comp? I can tell you from experience that they aren't willing to.

I already get enough from going Quinn top "we have no tank" "we have no front line". Then my team would pick several assassin type champs when Valor was basically an assassin already. Needless to say we did not win those games.

I'd love to play Quinn mid, don't get me wrong. I love playing her mid before the change. But my team does not love it at all. Even when I dominate mid and carry my team, NOBODY is like "oh man, maybe Quinn is actually a good mid pick". They just assume the enemy mid was super bad and continue to believe Quinn is garbage tier.

I can't even count how many times I have locked Quinn mid or top, only for someone after me to lock in my role and tell me to go ADC. The life of a Quinn main is depressing.

This is why I shy away from Ranked more often than not.

Yep. And apparently Repertoir wasn't even planing on having that be an option, because even after we were promised that he would make sure Quinn still worked as a duo laner, he straight up decided to make her a mid laner, the least popular of her positions. Riot added fancy and un needed mechanics to those champions to make them more "unique".

With Quinn they took everything that made her unique and stripped it down and made her a split push bot. WHERE IS MY TRUE DMG

So they remove two important mechanics of her existance give a gimmick and call it a day?

I've heard that somewhere before...

Hello friends. Unranked Quinn main here. I signed in to the boards for the first time just now to comment on this.

Being a ranged AD champ, I think Quinn's blind is the most powerful (AND FUN) part of her kit. I don't understand why they would remove her blind and cut into her massive, iconic, dueling potential.

As I see it, Quinn currently is a huge 1v1 lane bully, she has a lot of great burst damage, she has an unreliable passive, and she has one of the funnest ults in this blessed game. Her current kit makes her extremely flexible; this is why you see her played in every lane. Because of this flexibility Quinn is the epitome of a fun and *viable champion that doesn't bend to the meta. Trying to rework her and FORCE her into a mid-lane role, or any role would defeat the reason I play Quinn. Riot is always saying they're not trying to force meta onto players, but reworking her in the manner proposed on the PBE thread seems to go against this.

I do think Quinn needs changes. I do think her passive is unreliable. However, I do not feel that completely changing her "personality" in the way she is played is the way to go.

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, do we really want Teemo to be the only champ with a blind?!

*Quinn is definitely an out of meta champ and unpopular with professional play (where meta is adhered too), but if you don't think Quinn is a strong champion then you definitely haven't been playing enough SoloQ. I believe I have wrecked with Quinn and been wrecked by enough Quinns to say this.

Cheers

As a quinn main, it is definitely frustrating to hear that her blind is removed and that her second ult (rain of arrows) deals less damage. It has been clear, people don't enjoy having a quinn out of the bot lane but I've been really relying on her blind and the ult's big damage. I hope her other changes do her good.
