Honestly I don't like how his champs turn out. They tend to end up being the exact opposite of what Wukong is to me, which is a versatile yet easy to pick up champ. Of course I'd love Wukong to gain a level of mastery, but... well, his champs get a LOT of hate... like, a LOT of it. Likely the most hate out of any champs from any other Rioter.
If they don't end up getting gutted for being to strong, they are left alone while people constantly complain about them needing nerfed to the ground and gaining a large amount of hate for being left alone. I really wouldn't like to see Wukong fall under that group.
Even more I worry about him not keeping to what makes Wukong, Wukong. I still remember how much Morde mains were constantly trying to talk to him about changes they'd prefer to see (most of which, yes, was complaints, but quite a few were trying to be civil as possible), getting no feedback and then him finally getting updated and ended up being an abomination, before being changed repeatedly till he was finally put on the future VGU list.
Wukong isn't a very popular champ and likewise I feel like he would treat Wukong the same way he treated Morde by not listening to Wukong's mains and try to experiment with him in a way that doesn't fit his play style. I'm extremely worried about the second one seeing as though Wukong doesn't have a very strong niche and it could be very possible for Riot to try and force a new one into him, rather then enhance whats already there.
Personally I'd much rather see whoever updated Xin cover him, cause Xin is still very much himself, but with added changes here and there to both focus on his Diver aspects while giving him more versatility. I will also say that CertinlyT did do a good job with
, but WW alone isn't enough to make me feel like he would be a good pick for Wukong.
