Since I Dodged

Figure I'd spend the five minute wait before I can queue up again jotting down my thoughts on the incident and ones like it.

My latest reason for dodging was because a guy locked in Karthus top, but wait, it gets better.

Karthus, an AP Mage with no escapes thought it cool to take teleport and ignite NOT flash...

So, I had to choose between trying to carry a game in which our top was a severe liability to the team or dodge.

Oops, I already spoiled the ending.

I don't often dodge, Maybe once a day at most. Sometimes as a result of players refusing to take the proper summoners for their champions (usually flash). Other times due to role stealing. Sometimes a player immediately enters flame mode and I think to myself 'this guy sure is tilted, best leave before this burning wreck sinks with me in it'. Sometimes a player bans someone's pick and then the tantrum of "guess it's time to feed" (an actual exact quote from a lobby some days ago) begins.

Five minutes of waiting and a few LP lost is worth the price of not having to deal with 20+ minutes of excessive bullshit.

I might play an unhealthy amount of league, but I am not a total masochist.

Anyway, it's been about five minutes give or take. Time to try my luck again.

Edit: No luck. Tonight was an exceptionally lucky one for me. I drew another pair of trolls on my team.

So support hovers gnar and I'm thinking, "Please let this guy be joking." I make my pick, make my ban, but then our ADC hits the panic button and bans gnar.

Because it isn't like there's dozens of other troll picks for our support to choose, right?

So our support goes into full troll mode. Talking like it doesn't bother them in the least and all is right with the world.

...

Then they lock in jinx.

Looks like I'm not playing league for a while.

So glad the system works, riot.

We can choose to dodge and get punished for it OR, suffer through an entire match and report these people and hope they get punished for it...but we ourselves are still punished by losing massive LP and 20+ minutes of time we'll never get back.
