This, and it's an absolute crime. The first champion ever deleted. Maybe it's only through parliamentary trickery, but he's not viable. To any degree.

That's totally irrelevant.

I don't even understand the Ao Shin hype. You know nothing of Ao Shin besides his name, title (possibly) and concept art.

And that completely misses the point of the person you are replying too. Taric is unusable, Ao Shin doesn't even exist. Why wouldn't you fix your current car before getting a new one?

Because I don't have a lift and power tools. Also, any repair the shop makes would be almost 1/3 the cost of the new car (never mind all of them). Which, needless to say, far exceeds the value of the old car.

You're bringing unnecessary bullshit into the analogy.

'You' is directed at Riot, who manufactures, fixes, tweaks, and designs all of their 'cars'.

And value has nothing to do with it whatsoever monetarily, the value is in gameplay that is 100% hinged on quality of the rework and Ao Shin's kit.

Nah, riot has gotten better about the whole "identity" thing (better =/= good). He'll probably keep the armor buff, just not the aura.

Replacement: Skill passive is now: When ever Taric AA's an enemy, nearby allies gain 3% of his armor in a small area (see: barely more than melee range) for 2 seconds. When ever he shatters his armor, allies also explode doing damage equal to their armor buff.

Actually they nerfed them to bring them all on a more equal playing field so they can add more armor items to the game.

Well... in general Riot overvalues the power of Auras.

They should balance Aura's around the 2-man case, with any more than that just being a bonus.

I say 3 in Taric's case. If you try and balance it at 2, it WILL make him a powerhouse in bot lane, where he will be providing a natural aura to make his AD carry more resistant to what is by far the majority of damage on botlane 75% of the time. Make him have a trade off of a weaker lane for a stronger teamfight.

I was actually thinking of it in terms of solo Taric top getting a gank. And top lane has no guarantee of physical damage.

You would have to change Taric's primary role if you made him a top laner. Most of the time, we don't want that to happen. I mean, just look at what happened to poor Mord... Went from being a magebruiser in mid and top lane into... the strongest bot lane ADC? What?

Primary role? Taric was a pretty good top laner before his mini-rework. Aside from that, I feel that every champion without exception should be solo lane viable.

Pff, this Taric rework got me worried. He is already a kind of juggernaut under the supports. It's just that his stun is really crappy so he doesn't bring the control like Janna or Lulu does. But when they rework him they can either make him sh*t, give him a lame new playstyle OR make him too OP and he'll be the new FoTM.. Wich would probably be the worst of all because then everyone will be taking one of my favorite champions and no1 will be believe that you play Taric for Taric.. just like now with Skarner etc..
