I get it, the guy was an oppressive, anti-fun, toxic "top lane" champion. And he needed reigned in so as to stop virtually trolling enemy laners during the lane phase.

But the guy wasn't simply nerfed or gutted. He was outright nuked into oblivion with the latest issue of nerfs against him. And trying to make him a jungle by allowing him to devour red and blue isn't helping his situation at all.

It was kind of silly to go to such extremes in my opinion. I'm not even upset, really. I truly find it funny that Riot reamed this guy with the nerf bat in one overnight session.

Few players, if anyone, actually "mains" him; so, I don't think anyone will miss him.

But the extent of damage done to him...People, when you request a champion to be deleted or disabled, you should probably request that a champion gets "kenched" instead. Because this...it's pretty much the closest thing to Riot indefinitely removing a champion from the game that I've personally witnessed.

top kench lost 12% win rate how much win rate did olaf lose? the hotfix buffs kench received brought him up from the gutter

ive seen triforce wits end and if he triggers the tongue stun he can auto 3 times to eat you before you get out of the stun and then 3 auto you again into a q stun again

You don't understand what he means by olafing. If you had seen old olaf, back in about season 3 or 4 (don't remember right now) who was the no 1 ban in every game and got one of the biggest nerfs a toplaner (if not any champion) has ever gotten.

i don't remember the champion being gutted the 3.12 patch rework has a lot of buffs with the nerfs perhaps he was weaker and people didn't know how to play with the axes

considering that he hasn't received any substantial buffs afterwards for years also supports the theory that people really just didn't know how to play him after the rework

while kench got literally benched from the top lane with the Q passive stack removal, the passive bonus dmg from spells and reducing the over all passive dmg by more than 3 times

olaf was literally unplayble after the olafing, and he very much has received substantial buffs with item changes and runes, but you can still feel it in his kit to date, you fall behind with olaf your literally the most useless champ in the game now

he received only stat changes after the rework for years so he was pretty much playable people just didn't know how to play him

this is the only substantial kit change he has received since he got reworked 2 years after the rework and until now Now grants 50 / 60 / 70% bonus movement speed towards enemies for 1 second.

Olaf is a stat based champ due to the fact he is a juggernaut, i believe back in the day he had a 31% winrate after the nerfs, plus you have to consider items were a lot weaker so champs were a lot more reliant on their ratios/base damages....back in the day, rengar Q did 150% dmg, instead of 120%, and his empowered did 200% instead of 130%, olaf kinda just fell back into the game as items got stronger, and due to this meta mostly being burst/CC based, olaf kinda flourishes, being strong against both

so i just played a game as kench and honest to god i think the worst part of the nerfs is that his Q no longer applies a stack by itself i was fine that it consumes the stacks but the fact that you have to stand there and auto like an idiot before you buy cdr is so awful

it fucked with my perception so much the dmg is fine the Q cd is op the E cd + gray health is not noticeable well the cd is kinda strong? i dunno maybe as full tank 40% cdr you can have perma up time on the shield which effectively gives you 50% more hp which isn't too bad the W is completely awful xD

but over all i think his top lane should be fine the Q not applying stacks tho thats bullshit

All i wanted was for the cd on his Q to be reverted or the slow nerfed tbh

If only people learned how to play against him instead of bitching....but thats too hard for s9 players [slayer-jinx-wink] Imagine not being able to play around a champ whos kit literally screams "I NEED TO WALK UP TO YOU AND HIT YOU 3 TIMES BEFORE I CAN MAXIMISE MY DMG OUTPUT"

And im still wondering why are s9 gold players worse than s7 silver 5 players :/

All Kench needed was a prestige skin or Korean fanbase, then it would have been ok. Lux Pyke Ahri. This dev team is just so transparently shallow the game has gotten to a sad state in just 2 years. They're literally plowing the game under every skin sale they do.
