It's a pretty stupid mission for the Worlds event, since the last time a game was even played without an ADC in world's was solely because of Mordekaiser. And that team still had ranged champions.

Note to anyone who doesn't understand the basics of matchmaking: They are against players of equal skill. The same is true at all levels of play. Just because pros could definitely do it against bronze 5 players doesn't mean the average player should be able to against their own player pool. At best, this would be most possible for brand new or bronze 5 level players.

And if the other 5-man premade that you get matched against because the mission requires you be a 5-man premade lobby doesn't do the mission as well, they're going to beat you.

Doesn't mean jack shit. If the pros can't do it against players of equal skill, then it shouldn't be expected of players at any level of play.

Lmao that is not how that works. By that same logic, 80% of the champion pool should be trash tier and never played in SoloQ, considering that they never get picked in proplay because of how bad they are there.

You're equating two unrelated aspects of the game. Many of the champions must be overlooked in pro play because they aren't the strongest in their class.

But, as I stated in the OP, there has only been two champions in the entirety of the game's history that were so broken that they could replace the ADC in pro play, and only one of those two has ever seen play at Worlds in that position.

The request for players to intentionally leave out the ADC when the ONE non-ranged champion who was ever in a position to replace the ADC has been nerfed to the point that is no longer possible in a majority of games, while at the same time ADCs are far stronger than they were when he could do that, is ridiculous at all levels of play.

And then there's the fact that the all but one of the utility champions are ranged, despite the fact having a utility champion would be vital in securing the win against a team with range.

Well you see, the pros are playing against other pros. So unless you get matched against the entire team of SKT's smurfs or something, it can be done. Just don't expect to actually enjoy it.

You're assuming that it's likely matchmaking will make a mistake and put our team against a team far enough below our own skill level that they'd lose to an all-melee team.
