Dependes on what you want to build: AD or Tank.

Ive always liked to build him Half and half. A few tank items and the rest AD

The new 1 will be fantastic on him if you are going for a tanky build and u want to shred their tanks.

Do you think the new one will interact better with black cleaver than the current hydra? I get Hydra and BC as his main damage items.

Well the hydra will probably stack the BC faster because of the active. However, both would still be good with black cleaver.. If the enemy was really tanky, and you had a solid amount of HP yourself, the titanic hydra would be a great supplement to the black cleaver in terms of shredding them.

Basically, both are viable.. but the titanic hydra is more dependent on you also being tanky, whereas hydra doesn't require you to be.

If you wanted to deal the most damage to tanks as you could, you would have to be tanky as well with the titanic/bc combo, otherwise go hydra.
