Seriously. It's ridiculous. I see shit like "why is braums unbreakable just a worse version of Yasuo windwall?" too frequently. Why doesn't braum have double crit chance? Why can Yasuo not move his windwall around? Why doesn't Yasuo give his team a free stun? Why doesn't braum have armor pen?

People are comparing champions who have very different kits, build very different items, and do very different things.

I always joke with Tides how Vlad is just a worse Mordekaiser :^)

Their passives make them tankier the more damage they deal

Q is a single target Nuke that gets really strong once you hit it three times

W is a heal and their Nope-button

E is wave clear

R is a heal and can easily change the outcome of a teamfight

Unbreakable has a significantly shorter CD, Braum can atually itemize for CDR to make it have almost no downtime, the amount of coverage and flexibility and nigh impossible to just "walk around it" gives it superior coverage to be the perfect defensive ability.

And if your retort is "just CC braum" - you're wasting your precious CC on a target that wants it.

But that's just looking at the two in a vacuum. Windwall is probably the best tool for a melee carry. But objectively, Unbreakable is far superior.

Blade of the ruined king active gets blocked by windwall but not by unbreakable.

Karthus ult can be dodged using windwall but not unbreakable.

Garen ult can be dodged using windwall but not unbreakable.

Rengar bola is blocked by windwall but no unbreakable.

Corki Phos bomb is blocked by windwall but not unbreakable.

Karma ult empowered Q is blocked by windwall but not by unbreakable.

Kennen Q is blocked by windwall but not unbreakable.

Vlad Transfusion is blocked by windwall but not unbreakable.

Varus ult is blcoked by windwall but not unbreakable.

That's how the description reads but that's not how it works.

To clarify, Jinx rockets for instance are autos, but they are AOE autos. With unbreakable down braum and everyone around him take 110% jinx's AD in damage. This is coded as a single target auto and an AOE effect where the autos damage is then subtracted off so he takes only the same AOE damage as everyone around him instead of the single target auto and then the AOE. Unbreakable blocks the single target damage which was already subtracted off so it subtracts 0 damage and he winds up taking the full AOE damage that anyone else would have.

Its not blocked if he takes the full effect of it.

If you stand right under windwall it is blocked, I've seen it happen. It has to do with the fact that it is a projectile that comes straight down, so if your champion hitbox is smaller than windwall is it will be blocked. Yasuo can do it but a stacked chogath can't due to hitbox size differences.
