Can we stop acting like Lee Sin never gets nerfed?

When he's legit the most nerfed champion in league history?

http://lol.gamepedia.com/Lee_Sin_-_The_Blind_Monk#Patch_History

The guy easily has over ten nerfs including having features straight up taken out of his kit. He had his attack speed slow removed, his invisible reveal removed, his ability to shield enemy creeps removed, his bonus armor on active removed and countless ratio and base damage nerfs. Yes, he's had buffs in return and yes many of these changes needed to happen but when people say he never gets nerfed, sorry, history says otherwise.

Yes he's a meta shifting champion who typically dominates for periods of times. And yes it's frustrating and that's an entirely different debate on what should be done. It's just foolish to say he never gets nerfed or has never had meaningful nerfs because he has.

I'm fine with whatever balance opinions folks have regardless if I agree or not. But this board has a terrible tendency to omit facts or cherry pick and that should never be the case in discussion. If you hate Lee Sin and think he should be nerfed, fine, but don't jerk and hive mind on the idea he never gets nerfed when he's legit one of the most nerfed champs ever.

And despite all the nerfs, he's still one of the most annoying & oppressive champion to fight against, especially with that obnoxious RQQ combo. There was never a time he was "out of meta", and for some reason, whenever he feels out of place, Riot would just give him a random buff like the %HP on kicked enemies by Lee's target.

I mean come on, he got his W's lifesteal & spell vamp buffed just because he got little spotlight in the LCS.

Removing parts of an overloaded kit that shouldn't have been there in the first place, while technically a nerf, are things that shouldn't have made it live.

Additionally, if a champion like Lee is as continuously nerfed as you say, yet still is increasingly frustrating and as dominant as ever, then he hasn't been nerfed enough. Look at it this way. If you fill a KFC tub with slurpee from a 7/11, and dump half out because it's too much, you've still got way too much slurpee left to possibly ingest before it thaws, and need to keep dumping before you're at a point where you can drink it all.

one does not simply know what a champ needs and doesn't need when the champ isn't on live

it's like deciding that warwick on pbe didn't need an aoe fear for no reasons at all

Lee had features that were removed because he was broken and needed his power to be reduced but you just can't know what the power of a champion will be once released, especially when pbe didn't exist before

and lee was straight up garbage on release that he had 3 hotfixe buffs on his Q+E+R

flash interactions in general seem to be gigantic and unfair.

look at gragas body slam, shens taunt, and rek sais knockup. theyre abilities that are intended to be skillshots of a certain range. flash interactions turned them into 400 to 1000 unit range direct target abilities, and caused massive nerfs due to abuse of that interaction in pro play and higher rated games.

youre slightly off on your dash because the enemy dodged it? no problem, flash right onto the champions hitbox and hit anyways.

lees flash + r, q, q is the same deal. you just cant outmaneuver it.

makes you question if the negative aspects of keeping flash in the game outweights its necessity to overall balance.

{quoted} his ability to shield enemy creeps removed[...] countless ratio and base damage nerfs.

To the first one: wut.

I doubt he's had many ratio nerfs, though, or base damage nerfs on his Q. It's hard to imagine he had over 360 base damage on his Q, and even harder to imagine that he had more than 200% bonus AD scaling on R and 180% bonus AD scaling on Q.
