Zeke's Convergence: Great support stats but awful link-active

On paper, it should be a huge boost to your ADCs damage.... in practice you might rack up 4000-5000 damage over the course of a really long match.... which sounds like a lot until you realize your ADC did 60 k damage that match.

"But Lord Dominick Destine sama, that's almost 10% damage increase! that's really really good"

Except that 4000-5000 damage was spread out over many hits which may include nonessential damage and would be far lower than what other support items would provide. Basically, give us back Stark's Fervor, it was a billion times better than this garbage that your ADC won't even notice or care about.

Idk... I've been trying to build it on Kayle support who I think would work great with it but haven't found much success. I'm thinking the item is most useful when the enemy has tanks, helps amplify your carries damage and all that.

Zeke's Convergence is more of a situational late-game item. The 50% bonus magic damage only applies to an attacks AD portion so champions like Corki and Mordekaiser ghosts don't make much of it. Buying it early though is really bad so don't buy it early. On every Zeke's Convergence I've used and seen the results just aren't good enough. By the near end of the game the item has only racked up an additional 500-1500 damage which is really bad... Ardent Censer in contrast gets around 7000-15000 if you buy the item early (and depending on game length). Ardent Censer is health drain so the healing is the same as the damage as well.

The frost storm on Zeke's Convergence is pretty weak. 40 magic damage per second is pretty bad, it's like old sunfire cape. The ignition is also conditional, you gotta be focusing the same target as your partner otherwise no burn and no enhanced slow.

Maybe if they didn't limit the damage to just auto attacks the item would be nicer.

Does it work with transforming champs? Like jayce? I don't think you could build it on him effectively. Overall I'm with you, it doesn't seem effective.
