It's been 7 and a half seasons and people can still troll champ select without any consequences

7 seasons and people can still ninja roles in champ select 7 seasons and people can say in pre-game chat "I'm gonna feed this game so deal with it" 7 seasons of holding 4 people hostage in champ select because of 1 troll who is intentionally trying to sabotage the game.

I'm sick and tired of having to dodge queues in order to save myself from the inevitable -20lp loss that I'll get if I decide to play with the troll. It's embarrassing that after 7 seasons Riot has done NOTHING about the pre-game champ select lobby in terms of punishment. Can we PLEASE address this? I just want to play the fucking game and have some fun, but I can't because of these trolls.

What if there was an option where during champ select players can vote on leaving a game due to a specified player? They would click on a button and a prompt would come up asking if they want to vote to leave champ select, and a box in which they can choose a player (or players) who is attempting to sabotage the game and write why (Be it stealing roles, saying they will feed, trying to hold games hostage, etc.). If 3-4 votes were made against at least one player then the champ select will end and a log of what was said in the chat box during champ select would be recorded.

Players could actually begin getting punished for what they do and people will be able to avoid players who are willing to do shit like Disco Nunu or banning their own team's champions.

This is going to be abused so hard...

People are going to say, "Wait this guy is playing diana mid, diana sucks. Let's vote out of this game!"

People focus on the thought of voting too much.

Why not just add a pop-up that only appears to the person who actually dodged and asks why they dodged? Give some common reasons in checkboxes: roll stealing, champ banned, hate speech, etc.

Here's the thing, the person still loses the 3 LP and gets the dodge timer. If their report contributes to a punishment/ban they get the 3 LP back and like 10 RP. No incentive for troll dodging, actually punish people.

I was first of first pick, pick intended Taliyah that has a ban rate of 0.2%

Our support asked "hey how is your day" seemed pretty nice. Everyone in the chat was nice at that point.

then support bans Taliyah "Oh sorry didn't look at picks"

Fuck off. I dodged and took the -LP

I am not really sure why there is a need for this.

why is dodging not good enough?

you want to refuse to play with someone, but also you want that someone to be punished for you having refused to play with him.

You say that this is against "trolls" but in reality you'll say that any person who picks something you don't like is a troll.

this only leads to self censorship by the other guy and stagnation of the meta.

like it or not, "deal with it" is a better option that "punish the other guy" because of the huge fallout your option causes and the utter lack of ability on your part to tell who is a troll and who is not.

and yes, when I mean you, i do mean specifically you (but also everybody else)

They can also do so in game. Why is it a bigger issue in champ select?

Literally hasn't happened to me once since new champ select. not a single time. thousands of games.
