Ranked

I find it quite appalling that ranked is a blind pick instead of a mirror match. Wouldn't it be a true test of skill if instead of having your team countered, you actually had to face enemies that could prove the difference is the player and not the champion? I think ranked should always be a mirror match, and while that would disadvantage a player who doesn't know the champion, it would prove a better test of skill that just choosing Fizz into Syndra.
