Really hope riot do something about mages right now. Except by a few, they are not worth playing.

Zhonyas is not even that good anymore. 45 armor , 100 ap and the active for bloody 3500 of gold.

Even though zed is extremely strong. Hex just adds to make him impossible to be killed by any mage

Ahri Annie Swain Karma Lux Velkoz Veigar (a lot, but not limited to): Please buff us and gives us more ap and let us have more survivability and sustain. Unlike ADCs we can't do damage, and ADCs have way more utility than us. They also have way less defensive items that counter them than us. (emphasis on sustain, mages really need some healing in their kits KAPPA)

Adc's buying hexdrinker + QSS + sterak gage. It is impossible to kill them

I think you are the one who should pay attention. The mage update has absolutely nothing to do with the strength of the mage class at present and the itemisation changes coming with it are less to do with strength and more to do with item choices being interesting.

It is possible that the mage update will make them stronger but that would be entirely coincidence. It's being done to make mages stand out more, nothing else.
