I actually sent a support ticket in just so I could complain talk about the report system. See, I was agitated at the time with people who would instalock soraka jungle and stuff like that and needed a way to report these trolls without actually playing a game with them and losing LP. Unfortunately no system for this exists as confirmed and admitted by Riot support, so if you want to report these trolls, you have to play a game with them. Even the player behavior and moderation board here doesn't seem to take kindly to giving in game names out to punish them.
Anyway, what they had told me about the report system is that after several reports, these players are "flagged for investigation." Though to be honest, if Riot dealt with offenders with at least half of the passion we have for them to be prosecuted, this community's numbers would probably be cut in half.

yeah if you report someone they will get flagged, the unskilled report option though did absolutely nothing at all. You could report people a million times for that and i wouldn't have accomplished anything the most that option did was adjust matchmaking ever so slightly so that they would play with lower tier players and even then you had to be reported so many times for that to even do that. If we use your logic we would be banning people for having a SINGLE bad game or a SINGLE day of bad games. The reason why it's not allowed to give names on the boards to people who do this type of things is because the instant anyone sees them in the game they will get flamed which will just cause them to keep behaving that way.

MunchCrunchLunch1 votesriot doesn't punish anything except toxicity if you actually think that works. i can afk 30 times in a row. and i won't get banned for one day. i will just get the stupid leaver buster. i can feed 20 games in a row. as long as i dont blatantly say in chat. i am intenting. you don't get punished. and even if you say it most of the time u wont get punished unless it becomes a big deal on reddit or forums then riot takes mesaures to hide how shitty their system is.
