ZZ and Mao have both been disabled for days with no update, and Ranked is starting tomorrow. Since the ZZ portal was an item I really enjoyed using for the few days it was up I was looking forward to using it in ranked, but there hasn't really been anything said about it or Mao.
Is the plan to get either of them back up during 5.1? are we just fixing them for 5.2? what's the game plan?

The bug was giving it immense damage due to the bonus resistances a d/c player gains at fountain. This allowed the voids to 2 shot towers.
It would be nice since the issue regarding ZZ portal takes seconds to fix once the location in code is reached which is easy as well. There is no excuse for it not being fixed enabled already.

Sure, they might find the issue and fix it, but will it reoccur in other items? They are probably doing mass sweep to look for this stuff now.
Same thing goes for Maokai. This was an old bug that resurfaced for some reason. They are probably doing a mass sweep to reassure that it won't happen again.

All the time has nothing to do with this time. This time it is a very easy fix.
It will not occur in other items as this it the only item that has such an ability. This isn't a bug, either, this is merely something they overlooked and forgot to add to the item. It is a single line of code fix. Thus, there is no item that could possibly have this issue beyond ZZ portal.
Maokai is a different problem entirely.

They have had no problem with hotfixes in the past. In this case it is a new item that gets deactivated the weak of release and we might not get to see it again until another two weeks despite it having just been released.
