Is conqu even that good on him? Phaserush seems pretty core to be able to keep up to his targets.

phase rush is trash. You can go fleet footwork and get movement without relying on three hits. Yeh you don't get slow resistance but you get the stats you need fromm the rune bonuses and you get it more often per fight.

i do not give a single fuck about pro meta :' ) I also did arpen Q bot Varus in arams before the pros decided to abuse it years ago and i got flamed by how toxic it was to deal with.

i didn't say it's good, i said i was going to try it LOL and i never did when they split the precision bonuses i thought it was going to be good

then i saw darius being played in challenger and they took phase rush tried it myself and it was very good

Is conqueror's gonna be that strong on Darius? I honestly am not sure. Let us remember that a transformation of % of PREMITIGATION damage into true damage is less efficient on people that have innate shreds, pens and true damage.

Indeed, let's say you have the keystone : if you deal 1000 damage on a 300 armor target (damage/4). you would deal 200 true damage (20% of the premitigation damage) + 800/4 so that would deal 400 damage. From 250 damage without the keystone. That's a 60% damage increase

(I did those high values to exacerbate how powerful it is on very tanky champions, but also the first example i had in mind, 100 armor, could be confusing cause it lead to 20% damage increase, and people could think 20% true damage = 20% damage increase, but it's simply false, it only works that way against 100 armor opponents lol)

Now let's say you have innately 33.33% armor pen (make calculations easier) It's like saying the armor becomes 200 armor.

So you would deal 333.3 damage without keystone And with keystone you would deal 200 true + 800/3 = 466.66

466.66/333.33 = 1.4

That's a 40% damage increase

TLDR : If you have pen or shred in your build/kit, conqueror's value goes down a hill. It is more efficient on champions that do not have any pen in their builds (just like the fact BC and LW have antisynergy because shredding with BC reduces the amount of armor you can penetrate with LW)

This means that Darius, with his innate E %armor pen, and with a BC build potentially, will not be as good a user as, for instance, Jax, who has no pen whatsoever in his kit and doesn't take it in his build. Also Darius's ult which is already true damage is fully unaffected (Fiora's true damage as well by the way, Conqueror's Fiora is probably trash)

Also it means people that go Conqueror's will probably not buy Black Cleaver, as it is less impactful than previously if you have both. Aka hello Trinity Sterak's Darius, byebye Black Cleaver Darius.

Just because you nerf darius doesn't mean gnar will come back

if anything gnar is a counter to Darius pick Also i asked to nerf him because i'm afraid as a Darius main that he becomes permabanned in high elo once conqueror gets added because he's already banned often in my games
